Sisters' Halaqa

The Sisters' Halaqa at ICN Bellevue Mosque offers a welcoming, supportive environment where Muslim women can strengthen their faith, increase their Islamic knowledge and build meaningful connections with one another.

In regular gatherings centered on the Qur'an, the Sunnah and practical Islamic teachings, sisters learn, reflect, share experiences and grow together in their relationship with Allah (SWT). Women at every stage of their spiritual journey are encouraged to deepen their understanding of Islam and apply its teachings in daily life.

What we cover

• Qur'an and tafsir: the meanings of the Qur'an and its guidance for personal, family and community life.
• Hadith and Sunnah: the teachings and example of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
• Islamic knowledge: beliefs, worship and everyday religious responsibilities.
• Spiritual development: iman, sincerity, patience, gratitude, and keeping a strong connection with Allah (SWT).
• Personal and family life: Islamic perspectives on marriage, parenting, family relationships and the challenges Muslim women face today.
• Sisterhood and support: lasting friendships, shared experiences, and encouraging one another with faith, compassion and respect.

Muslim women of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. Whether you are new to Islamic learning or have studied for years, you will find a supportive place to learn, ask questions and grow alongside other sisters.
